MW Electrical Services can provide Emergency lights designed and maintained to comply with BS5266 ensuring safe movement and egress around buildings.
Design Process It is essential that Emergency lights are correctly designed. We will carry out an initial survey of the premises and design the emergency lights to comply with the current British Standards, we also take account of the buildings risk assessment.
Installation We undertake installation work to nearly all types of buildings including houses, offices, public houses, hotels, factories, explosive areas and care homes.
The type of the emergency light will depend on each building, we offer a full range of emergency lights including combined decorative light fittings, explosion proof lights and we can sometimes convert existing light fittings into emergency lights.
Depending on the type of premises we undertake the installation utilising the most suitable type of cabling for the premises ranging from twin and earth cable, conduit and single insulated cables, MICC (PYRO) cables, FP200 cable
Testing Following installation we test every installations to ensure the design criteria has been met and light levels meet the required levels. We issue installation certificates following all installation work.
Drawings We produce drawings in house within our CAD drawing department and print all drawings ranging from A4—A1 colour drawings. |
